Grace Notes
Volume 7 | December 2025
UVB’s September performance of Handel’s Complete Messiah was hailed as one of the best ever by many who experienced it. Thirteen step-out soloists, in perfect sync with the baroque orchestra, charmed listeners. This well-known work can still delight!
November’s Chamber Concert with “Unknown Measures” featured newly-discovered works by Scarlatti and Gabrielli, along with two solo violin sonatas. The quintet of extraordinary musicians clearly enjoyed sharing gems of the era with those present.
